Some worthy rivals stand across from us.
Others exist within us.
ABOUT WORTHY RIVAL
Worthy Rival was built on a simple operational truth: physical readiness is not about vanity or proving something to the room—it is about professional stewardship and self-respect. Whether you are facing an external physical test or overcoming the internal friction of preparation, true capability is established long before day one.
Growth begins with self-respect.
A DIFFERENT STARTING POINT
Improvement can begin with dissatisfaction—with a result, a circumstance, or some part of life that needs to change.
But dissatisfaction with where you are does not have to become dissatisfaction with who you are.
You do not have to diminish who you are to demand more of yourself.
Preparation takes different forms.
PREPARATION IN PRACTICE
What preparation requires depends on the demand in front of us.
Worthy Rival exists to help you prepare for what matters—through purposeful training, thoughtful coaching, and practical ideas.
The test may be the milestone. Preparedness is the goal.
Preparation has always been the point.
BEHIND WORTHY RIVAL
Worthy Rival was founded by Jerrett Klar[cite: 1]. Across more than 20 years in policing, his work has included patrol, investigations, field training, supervision, and helping design and administer physical training for police recruits.
Jerrett is an NCSF Certified Personal Trainer, Sports Nutrition Specialist, certified law-enforcement instructor, Certified DPS Row Test Instructor, and holds a master’s degree in Criminal Justice Leadership and Management.
Those experiences shaped the approach behind Worthy Rival: begin with what someone needs to be able to do, choose what belongs in the plan, and make sure the pieces work together.
Worthy Rival began with physical training, but the idea extends beyond fitness. Physical preparation matters. So does being ready for the responsibilities, decisions, and demands that life places before us.
